Denise and the cross Arthur and the cross on the Reef

To the surprise of many, there are islands of land and palm trees all along the Great Barrier Reef. These are all part of the reef. Hotels and other recreational areas are located on these islands.

It was wonderful to carry the cross there with Denise, my wife. We based out of Port Douglas. The time of our visit was in February and it was very rainy. The sea was full of muddy water from the rivers and streams pouring into the sea. So it was very poor water conditions. In some areas you could hardly see your hand in the water!

However we had some powerful witness with the tourists visiting the islands to go diving. We had some long talks and prayed with many people.
