With my wife, Denise driving I carried the cross around much of the island of Puerto Rico. We rented a car at the airport and I carried the cross while Denise drove ahead up the road in front of me three or four miles and waited on the roadside with water and supplies.
The crosswalk on the south side of the island from Mayaguez to Ponce and on east was just awesome. The people were so eager and friendly. I led many to receive Jesus as Savior. I talked in my poor Spanish but many here speak English.
One night Denise and I took a late night boat to a place called ‘Fluorescent Bay’. It is a glorious sight to behold. The bright sparkles in the water late at night are stunning. We were able to swim in the warm water with the flashes of light everywhere. Swimming with these tiny sea creatures made it a night to remember.
